Working paper and presentation: “Data-driven urban science for Photovoltaics in Cities.” Future Cities Lab Global, Singapore.

The presentation by Prof. Markus Schläpfer and Dr. Christoph Waibel on “Data-driven urban science for Photovoltaics in Cities” that was held in May 2022 in Singapore is now online on Youtube (link).

The talk presents the latest results of the Future Cities Lab Global module “Powering the City” on urban PV integration, including a working paper led by Yufei Zhang on #SolarGAN, a model to create stochastic annual solar irradiation time series on facades by only using a fisheye lens image, and a working paper led by Markus Schläpfer on using mobile phone data for Vehicle-to-Grid infrastructures supporting PV in cities.
